Upper arms look like you had a few difficulties (which you overcame) but the rest of the figure has a lovely solidity to it. The balance of the figure is excellent - it seems firmly earth-bound. My favourite bits are the shoulders around the neck and the lower hips and upper legs as the tone and paint marks describing the shapes are superb. There's a lot of depth and the mark-making gives a lot of movement to the sketch. I can se the history of your decisions on what marks to make in this pice which give it depth. It looks like the model has just paused for a second in a reverie. Love the colours but then I tend to say that in every piece I comment on as that is what first draws me to an artwork.
Did you enjoy painting it? It looks like you did. The more I say about this the more I like it - there's a lot going on.
